Host an Event!
Volunteer management is hard. We can make it easier!
Volunteer Visionaries can help you to plan, promote, and manage more impactful volunteer events. Our bite-sized volunteerism approach helps to acquaint more people with your mission and needs, creating a recruiting pipeline for long-term volunteers and improved name recognition within your community, all while getting meaningful work done to support your mission.

And yes, our services are 100% free to all organizations serving the common good!

Am I Eligible?
Our services are as flexible as our communities, so most organizations that serve the common good are eligible. This includes most...
-
Nonprofits
-
Local and state government entities
-
Clubs (like Rotary, sports clubs, or other groups)
-
Neighborhood groups and associations
-
Some for-profit businesses whose projects serve local needs or community benefit are also welcome!

Ineligible organizations include:
-
Organizations that discriminate against any social or demographic groups
-
For-profit organizations whose projects do not support the common good
-
Organizations not sufficiently aligned with Volunteer Visionaries' core mission

Easy as One, Two, Three!
While there is no silver bullet to make volunteer management perfectly easy, Volunteer Visionaries can help you plan and accomplish projects that move the needle on your mission. We use three simple steps:
-
Plan
First, we'll start with a quick conversation to make sure that Volunteer Visionaries is the right fit to help you. Then, we can discuss your project idea and design the event! -
Promote
Your event will be added to our website and promoted to our mailing list. For best results, we strongly recommend you promote the event on your usual channels as well. -
Execute!
On event day, your Volunteer Visionaries coordinator will help you track and manage volunteers to ensure a smooth and successful event.

Sample Projects
How can you tell if your project idea is a good fit? Here are a few samples to give you an idea:
-
A local resettlement agency needs to move three families into permanent housing on the same day. Nine volunteers split up and tackle the task in three hours total.
-
A small city parks department wants to plant a low-water demonstration garden in an existing park. Twelve volunteers install close to 100 plants in two hours.
-
A neighborhood group wants to organize a cleanup to remove trash and tidy nearby bus stops, benches, and other amenities. Five volunteers tackle the work in three hours, then discuss their progress and goals over snacks.
